(QNO) - According to data released by the online booking app Booking.com, Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) is ranked 6th in the list of most-searched destinations by Vietnamese tourists for the upcoming Vietnamese National Day (September 2).
The information released by Booking.com is based on search data from travelers on their website between August 31 and September 3, 2024, and also shows that Vietnamese travelers seek experiences that combine relaxation and exploration.
Besides Hoi An, the top 10 destinations include: Da Lat, Da Nang, Vung Tau, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Phan Thiet, Sa Pa, and Hue. This suggests domestic travelers prefer destinations with cool climates or near the sea.
Last year, Hoi An was ranked 10th in this list. Seven of this year's top 10 were also on last year's list, with Phan Thiet, Sa Pa, and Hue as new additions.
