(QNO) - A high-level delegation from Attapeu province (Laos) led by Attapeu Provincial Governor Lech Saynhaphon had a working visit to Quang Nam on August 22, 2022.
Quang Nam leaders gave them a warm welcome and believed that the visit had a great significance for the relationships of Vietnam and Laos, Quang Nam and Attapeu, especially on the 60th anniversary of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic relations (1962-2022) and 45 years of Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation (1977-2022).
At the meeting, Quang Nam provincial Party Committee Secretary Phan Viet Cuong talked about the provincial history, natural conditions, and socio-economic development briefly.
It is remarkable that Quang Nam has got outstanding achievements since the provincial reestablishment, especially the post-Covid-19 recovery of tourism, effective implementation of national target programmes, incessant improvement of people’s healthcare, education and life.
At the same time, Mr. Phan Viet Cuong talked about Quang Nam’s strengths such as automobile assembly, mechanical engineering, chip manufacturing, hydropower, garment, tourism, and logistics.
He also hoped for a mutual cooperation between Attapeu and Quang Nam, especially in agriculture and tourism.
Attapeu may provide its agricultural products for Truong Hai Agriculture Joint Stock Company located in Quang Nam.
Mr. Lech Saynhaphon thanked for Quang Nam leaders’ warm welcome and congratulated Quang Nam on the achievements.
He provided brief information about Attapeu’s strengths and the fields in which Quang Nam and Attapeu can cooperate, such as mining industry and agriculture.
Mr. Lech Saynhaphon invited Quang Nam leaders to Attapeu in order to learn more about the province and look for investment opportunities.
On this occasion, the delegation from Attapeu visited Truong Hai Auto Corporation.
