(QNO) - The beauty of lantern lights has become a signature feature of Hoi An tourism (Quang Nam province), shining more brilliantly and radiantly than ever during the Lantern Festival.
The lantern festival has been a tradition in Hoi An for decades, held on the full moon nights each month, drawing enthusiastic participation from numerous tourists.
On this occasion, many visitors and local people release lanterns on the Hoai river, sending their wishes adrift.
Most recently, Time Out magazine (UK) ranked Hoi An among the top 20 most romantic cities in the world, deeming it an ideal destination for couples on Valentine’s Day.
According to Time Out, taking a boat ride on the Hoai river, releasing lanterns, and listening to traditional fold music are truly memorable experiences for couples in love.
