(QNO) - The Opening Ceremony of the 5th Quang Nam Heritage Festival was held at 8pm on June 22nd at Hoi An theatre of Quang Nam province. Mr Nguyen Xuan Phuc- Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister, the  national and local representatives, international guests (Mr Somsavad Lengsavath from Laos, Ms Irina Bokova – UNESCO Director-General , foreign news agency’s representatives) and local people were present at the ceremony.

(QNO) - According to Mr Dinh Hai, Director of Quang Nam provincial

Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism, the new feature of the 5th Quang Nam Heritage Festival 2013 is the participation of many Art groups from ASEAN countries, Korea, Japan, Vietnam and international choir groups. They will perform an impressive art programme in the open space beside Hoai river and inside Hoi An Ancient Quarter.

The final evening of DIFC2013 featured amazing performances by teams Japan and the USA, following on from the previous night’s performances by teams Russia, Da Nang-Viet Nam, and Italy.

(QNO) - The choir competition began at 8.30 PM on 19th June at An Hoi Statues Garden (Hoi An city). It’s one of three key events and the first activity of the 5th Quang Nam Heritage Festival’s programme. It’s also the second times to be held in the Ancient Town.
