(QNO) - Slowly running along the peaceful roads in Dai Binh village of Nong Son district (Quang Nam province) may be an unforgettable experience sports buffs have.
Dai Binh village, along with Tam Thanh commune of Tam Ky city, has been chosen as a place for tourism and new-style rural development in the period of 2021-2025.
One of the impressive events was the 20th Raid Amazones to be held in Nong Son in 2019 with the participation of hundreds foreign athletes.
The running contest named Nong Son exploration 2022 which will take place on August 14, 2022 is expected to bring another memorable experience to the participants, to be a chance for popularising Nong Son tourism.
The event is aimed at responding to the National Tourism Year- Quang Nam 2022 and the Dai Binh cultural- tourism festival.
The race includes 3 distances, 7km, 21km, and 32km, starting at Dai Binh village, crossing 4 communes of Nong Son district.
Reportedly, there will be 800 athletes joining the running contest.
To meet the accommodation needs of athletes and tourists, local authorities will provide about 675 rooms from local households and homestays.
Besides, there will be tents and My Son Heritage Resort & Spa hotel (in Duy Phu commune, Duy Xuyen district) nearby.
Nong Son with the poetic roads crossing green paddy fields and orchards is considered an ideal place for sports tourism events.
Moreover, the locals’ friendliness and hospitality is contributing to the success of the event which is planned to be held every year later.
