Ethnological artifact collection at Champa culture museum

(QNO) - On October 9, the My Son Sanctuary Cultural Heritage Management Board officially inaugurated an exhibition space featuring agricultural tools and handicrafts from local residents at the Sa Huynh - Champa Culture Museum in Duy Xuyen, Quang Nam province.

Over 100 artifacts on display mainly consist of everyday household items from rural residents in Duy Xuyen, including the buffalo yoke used for plowing rice grinders, flour mills, fish sauce containers, jars, traps, and nets.
All displayed artifacts are original, handcrafted pieces, reflecting the memories and essence of rural life from a bygone era.
The wooden trays and bowls from a rural family meal in Duy Xuyen evoke nostalgia for older visitors, especially those from the 1980s and earlier, while helping today's youth gain a deeper understanding of their cultural heritage and national history.
