(QNO) - Truong Hai Auto Corporation (THACO) has just made a contract to export over 6,000 semi-trailers to the US.
THACO Special Vehicles Manufacturing Limited Company (THACO SV) is now working hard to meet the order of 6,050 semi-trailers from Dorsey Intermodal under Pitts Enterprises Inc., one of the largest semi-trailer manufacturers in the US.
The first shipment will be delivered in November 2021. THACO and Dorsey still keep on their negotiation for new contracts that will be carried out in the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2022.
At the same time, THACO also learns to develop its products in order to enlarge its distribution market in the US.
THACO is planning to export between 12,000 and 15,000 semi-trailers to the US each year and to boost exports to Australia and Japan.
THACO and Dorsey became partners in February 2020. Dosey highly appreciates the quality of THACO products.
They are suitable for the needs of the market and meet the US traffic standards. So, Dorsey will continue to cooperate with THACO and have more larger orders.
Reportedly, THACO exported over 350 cars and semi-trailers, and spare parts in the first 6 months of 2021. It is THACO’s effort in the strategy for taking part in global value chains.
THACO plans to get into new markets in Europe, South America, South Asia, Australia and the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
