(QNO) - A national science conference on developing service sector in industrialisation and modernisation by 2030, with a vision to 2045 was held in Da Nang city on August 5.

Present at the conference were Politburo member, Head of the Central Economic Commission Tran Tuan Anh, leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the State Bank of Vietnam, Da Nang Party Committee, the University of Danang, and 250 others.
The conference focused on discussing global tourism trends and implications for Vietnam, cultural industry in industrialisation and modernisation in Vietnam, future service-based development, recommendations for Vietnam’s logistics services development in industrialisation and modernisation.

At the conference, there were a lot of significant ideas on the restructuring of services based on science, technology and innovation; developing new service industries; developing infrastructure and promoting digital transformation for the development of services; suggesting guidelines, mechanisms and policies for service development in the process of industrialisation and modernisation.

According to Tran Tuan Anh, service development is an important driving force to promote industrialisation and modernisation.
The conference brought to a successful conclusion. All the opinions, proposals and recommendations will be compiled and synthesised for national industrialisation and modernisation by 2030, with a vision to 2045.
