South Korean projects in Quang Nam

(QNO) - South Korea is known as the country with the largest number of investors in Quang Nam, 31 projects with a total registered capital of about USD 250 million.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and South Korea (1992-2022), a seminar on the history of exchange and future prospects of Vietnam- South Korea relations has just been held in Da Nang city. 

Present at the event were Wee Joon-seok- South Korean Ambassador to Vietnam, leaders of Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Thua Thien Hue, and South Korean and Vietnamese scholars.

The seminar discussed the 30- year cooperative relationship between Vietnam and South Korea, the development prospects and bilateral relations between the two countries in the coming time.

It is reported that nearly 10 thousand South Korean investors are working in Vietnam. There are also Vietnamese and South Korean communities in each country.

Among 20 countries and territories that have invested in Quang Nam, South Korea is the country with the largest number of investment projects with a total registered capital of about 250 million USD.

Currently, 20 out of 31 South Korean projects in Quang Nam are in operation and the rest are under construction.
