Urban area of Northwestern Chu Lai airport

The urban area should meet the criteria for the 2nd class urban area. It will cover an area of 539 hectares with a population of about 35,000.

The planning should meet the needs of locals’ stable life, creating a land fund for resettlement, developing the urban area, increasing the population size to satisfy the development requirements of Nui Thanh district.

Besides, there is an area for experts and skilled workers in service of the non-tariff zone, the gas-energy industrial park, and industries using gas energy and other products.

Tam Hoa- Tam Tien urban area

Tam Hoa- Tam Tien urban area is considered a new urban centre under Chu Lai Open Economic Zone.

Tam Hoa- Tam Tien urban area is planned to become a centre for services and tourism, also known as the nucleus of Nui Thanh district.

It covers an area of 954 hectares with a population of around 18,000, meeting the criteria for the 2nd class urban area.

The planning of Tam Hoa- Tam Tien urban area should have highlighted spaces, orientating it towards the sea, ensuring the harmony of local common architecture, landscapes and ecosystem.

Ban Than tourist attraction

Ban Than is a tourist site located in Tam Hai commune, Nui Thanh district.

It plays an important role in tourism development in association with conservation and promotion of the values of natural landscapes and ecological environment, fostering the provincial tourism development.

The project on Ban Than ecological complex covers an area of 158 hectares, including 49 hectares of Hon Mang and Hon Dua isles, Ban Than mountain, and part of Thuan An village.

It aims to exploit the advantages of the local natural landscapes and promote Quang Nam culture and tourism to native and foreign tourists.

Thu Bon riverside landscapes

The landscape design along the Thu Bon river aims to manage, exploit, embellish, preserve and promote its values of natural landscapes and ecological environment.

Thu Bon River with a basin area of 10,350 km² is one of the inland rivers with the largest basin in Vietnam.

The planning aims to provide a general base for detailed construction plans, technical and social infrastructure development, and building a national tourist attraction.

At the same time, the planning also helps promote the local natural, cultural and historical values, contributing to the socio-economic development of Quang Nam.

Adjustment plan for Dien Ban town

The adjustment plan for Dien Ban town towards 2030 and 2045 has been approved by the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee.

Accordingly, Dien Ban town will function as a connecting urban area (instead of a satellite town) between Da Nang city and some Quang Nam localities such as Dai Loc, Hoi An, and Duy Xuyen. Dien Ban along with Hoi An and Duy Xuyen is identified as part of the Northern dynamic cluster of Quang Nam.

The town covering an area of over 21.5 hectares is planned as a 3rd class urban area with 20 administrative divisions, including 7 wards and 13 communes.

It will become a connection between the Central marine ecotourism centre, Da Nang and Hoi An.

Besides, Dien Ban is also planned to be a centre for industrial, commercial and tourism development in the Northern region of Quang Nam, connecting to high-quality educational and high-tech agricultural centres.

International university township in Phu Ninh

The project on international university township in Phu Ninh district is considered very significant for the socio-economic development of Quang Nam province in particular and Vietnam in general.

As its name, the township is designed for education and scientific research, using forest and agricultural land conversed.

Construction of Tan Hiep island commune

Tan Hiep island commune takes an important role in national defence and security. It is also the place for the UNESCO biosphere reserve of Cu Lao Cham (Cham Islands).

According to the plan, the construction area includes 8 isles and the water around them, ensuring the coastal protection corridor for the islands.

It is mainly planned for tourism development in combination to environmental protection, landscape preservation, promotion of local historical cultural values, and ensuring national defence and security.

Son Vien resort complex

A complex of resort and tourism services will be built in the area of Son Vien hot spring in Nong Son district.

This area is regarded to have the potential for tourism development. So, there are several investors to learn about it.

The complex will cover an area of 463 hectares, providing high-class tourism and relaxation services for tourists.

Sol by Melia Nam Hoi An

The project on Sol by Melia Nam Hoi An 5-star resort covers an area of over 4.5 hectares in Tam Tien commune, Nui Thanh district. It is divided into 4 areas with 18 components.

The construction of the resort should pay attention to coastal protection corridors for erosion prevention and the preservation of local agricultural and fishery production activities.

Construction of Duy Xuyen-Thang Binh riverside and coastal areas

It is essential to have a connecting space of riverside and coastal areas from Duy Xuyen to Thang Binh district. The focuses are the urban areas of Duy Hai- Duy Nghia and Binh Minh.

Nam Hoi An

The project will build technical and social infrastructure meeting the criteria for the 1st class urban area. It is encouraged to build skyscrapers with mixed functions, creating urban highlights, planning of high construction density to promote land use efficiency.
