(QNO) - Vietnamese Prime Minister’s Directive 27 about production recovery in the context of Covid-19 was issued on October 3.

According to the directive, the Covid-19 epidemic is now being controlled step by step.
However, due to its negative impacts, a large number of production chains and supply chains have been broken.
A lot of local production orders have been cancelled. And there has been a shortage of labours.
So, it is essential for enterprises and businesses to have strategies for their production and trade recovery in the complicated context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The People’s Committee of provinces and cities are responsible for supplying concrete guidance both in local production and trade recovery and in epidemic prevention and control.
At the same time, it is important and necessary that all the staffs are vaccinated. It is considered to reopen some necessary services so that the local life can be facilitated but safe from the Covid-19 epidemic.
In addition, the Ministry of Health has to issue specific regulations on distancing and testing in production and business establishments, production conditions, the ways to treat confirmed cases of Covid-19 in order to make sure of the safety in production and trade.
The ministry has to deliver vaccines to all the localities nationwide to increase national immunisation.
The Ministry of Transport has to provide the guidance on transportation and circulation so that it can support the production recovery and people’s lives well.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment should have solutions to difficulties and obstacles in investment procedures, infrastructure development in industrial parks and economic zones.
The Ministry of Finance and the State Bank of Vietnam should develop policies on tax exemptions, interest rate adjustments for the local production and trade recovery.
