(QNO) - Ngoc Linh ginseng products have been increasingly displayed online by businesses and farmers in Nam Tra Mi (Quang Nam province), creating a total revenue of millions of VND monthly.
Besides the monthly fair for Ngoc Linh ginseng and medicinal herbs from 1 to 3 in Nam Tra Mi, these products are now displayed and sold on social networks such as facebook, zalo, youtube.
Via these online channels, trader Alang Thi Hoc (Tra Linh commune, Nam Tra Mi) sells from 2 to 4kg of Ngoc Linh ginseng root per month.
Ho Thi Blup (Tac Lang village, Tra Linh commune), who plants Ngoc Linh ginseng displays and sells her product on the Internet, sometimes introduces her garden of ginseng through livestreams to attract more customers.
Ms. Ho Thi Thuy Ngan – owner of showroom Tuan Ngan Ngoc Linh ginseng products (Tra Mai commune), including tea, wine also sells her products via social networks and her website.
She interacts with customers everyday via images, videos at Ngoc Linh ginseng gardens, introducing Xe Dang ethnic daily life to customers about the origin of Ngoc Linh ginseng.
Since 2017, a facebook page of Ngoc Linh Ginseng Capital and the youtube channel Ngoc Linh ginseng fairs have been regularly opened by Nam Tra Mi authorities.
It aims to promote Ngoc Linh ginseng, other local precious medicinal species and the culture of the Ca Dong, Xe Dang, and Bh'noong people.
