(QNO) - In the seminar of attracting investment into infrastructure under the Invest Da Nang Forum 2017 last week, Quang Nam province and Da Nang city promoted the project of Da Nang – Hoi An electric railway line.

The electric railway line is estimated to be 33km in length, from Da Nang International Airport, through Vo Nguyen Giap street, to Hoi An. The total estimated budget of this project is about 7,000-15,000 billion VND (330-660 million USD) from ODA or PPP.
Mr. Tran Van Son – Head of Da Nang Department of Planning and Investment said that the aim of building this electric railway line is to shorten the distance between Da Nang and Hoi An, and boost the economic and tourism development of these 2 localities. So far, there have been some domestic and foreign investors expressing their interest in this project.
