(QNO) - The inauguration of THACO’s Mechanical Centre with the leading scale in Vietnam has just be held at Chu Lai Industrial Park of Quang Nam province.
At the same time, Truong Hai Auto Corporation (THACO) announced to found the Truong Hai Industrial Group Company (THACO INDUSTRIES) and to start the construction of R&D Centre in Quang Nam province.
THACO INDUSTRIES covering an area of 120ha with a total investment capital of more than USD 550 million and 6,500 employees will work out the strategy for producing mechanical products and developing supporting industries on a large scale.
THACO INDUSTRIES plans to develop 36 supporting industry plants and one mechanical engineering complex, trying to become a centre for mechanical engineering and supporting industry by 2025.
At the same time, it is expected to be a regional link in Central Vietnam.
The R&D Centre will cover an area of 20,000sqm. It is invested over USD 20 million and employs over one thousand experts, engineers.
The centre is expected to come into operation in August 2023.
The mechanical centre with the leading scale in Vietnam covers an area of 20 hectares, including a factory of material supply and mechanical processing, a factory for semi-trailers and heavy components, a factory to produce moulds, and a factory for specialized equipment.
It is invested more than USD 100 million.
