(QNO) - The opening ceremony of the Da Nang Processing and Supporting Industry Expo 2023 took place on September 12.
On this occasion, the signing ceremony for cooperation and development of smart factories in Da Nang city and Central Vietnam was held.
It is the first time an exposition on products of supporting, processing and manufacturing industries has been held in Da Nang city.
The event occurred with the participation of more than 160 booths from 120 local and foreign businesses.
The Da Nang Processing and Supporting Industry Expo 2023 provides a good environment for the cooperation and connection of trading exchange between enterprises in Da Nang city, Central Vietnam, the Central Highlands, and domestic and foreign businesses.
It facilitates the participation of enterprises in Da Nang and Central Vietnam in the global supply chain.
The event lasts until September 14, 2023.
Earlier, in February 2022, Samsung and the Ministry of Industry and Trade signed a Memorandum of Understanding on implementing a smart factory development project to improve the capacity of Vietnamese businesses in Da Nang and Central Vietnam via setting up smart factories and fostering high-quality human resources, thereby helping Vietnamese companies meet domestic demand and increase competitiveness in the global value chain.
