(QNO) - On August 2, the Da Nang city Department of Trade and Industry, in collaboration with the Viet Nam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE), held the opening ceremony of the International East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Trade, Tourism, and Investment Fair - Da Nang 2024.
The EWEC Da Nang Fair 2024 features 300 booths from over 150 enterprises across 31 provinces and cities in Vietnam, as well as 9 representative booths from Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Russia, South Korea, and China.
This event is part of the national trade promotion program for 2024, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Vietnam), and held annually to promote the image, economic and social potential, trade, and tourism investment of organizations, businesses, and investors along the East-West Economic Corridor. It aims to boost domestic consumption and expand the market for exports.
At this year's fair, the Cooperative Alliance of Quang Nam province has 12 booths showcasing a range of OCOP products, including noni fruit products, fermented grapefruit juice, honey, mountain pepper, and cinnamon, agarwood products, etc.
