Development of MICE tourism

(QNO) - A seminar on development of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) tourism in Central Vietnam has just been organized by the Da Nang city’s Department of Tourism and Quang Nam provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The event also summarized the programme of Da Nang-Quang Nam Farmtrip.

The seminar was part of the activities to welcome about 30 travel businesses mostly from Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh cities to survey the tourism products in Da Nang city and Quang Nam province from 23-27 March. In 2017, a series of large events will be held in Da Nang and Quang Nam such as the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week, the international firework competition, the international marathon race, the 6th Quang Nam Heritage Festival…

At the seminar, representatives of travel businesses considered the Quang Nam-Da Nang as ideal MICE destination in Central Vietnam. However, two localities should strengthen propagation and marketing; improving the quality of services, tourist guides and creating competitive advantages for MICE.
