Delegation of Battambang works in Quang Nam

(QNO) - Chairman of Quang Nam People’s Committee Dinh Van Thu hosted a reception for the visiting delegation of Battambang province (Cambodia) led by its Chief Chan Sophal last weekend.

At the meeting, Chairman Thu informed his guests of Quang Nam province’s advantages, potentials and remarkable achievements after 20 years of re-establishment and the development orientation in 2017. Especially, the visiting of the delegation of Battambang took place when the two countries Vietnam and Cambodia were preparing for the 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations. Chairman Thu also remarked on the  Vietnam-Cambodia long-standing relation and that Quang Nam province hoped to contribute more to this relationship.

In reply, Provincial Chief of Battambang Chan Sophal expressed his delight in Quang Nam province’s impressive changes over the years. He desired two sides to exchange good experiences in the administrative management, economic development, social policy and others. Mr Chan Sophal thanked Vietnamese people for helping Cambodian people to struggle for independence and to build the country.
