The program saw the participation of President of the Busan Tourism Organization, Mr. Lee Jung Sil, and more than 50 representatives of airlines, travel agencies, MICE and golf organizers in Busan.

The program updated the information about new and unique tourism products of Da Nang to South Korean visitors, such as Bach Dang walking street and Nguyen Van Troi pedestrian bridge, Danang Downtown entertainment complex, and art shows with fireworks displays.

In particular, the “Enjoy Da Nang Again” campaign taking place from July 15 to the end of 2024 with several souvenirs and incentive packages for South Korean tourists, who return to Da Nang for the second time since 2020, will bring more enjoyable experience to these visitors.

Specifically, Da Nang welcomed 822,765 South Korean tourists in the six months of 2024, accounting for more than 41% of the total international visitor arrivals to the city.

Tourists from Busan to Da Nang on direct flights with a frequency of 28 flights/week account for 20% of the total number of flights from South Korea to Da Nang every day.

According to Mr. Lee Jung Sil, Busan is South Korea’s largest port city, famous for its diverse marine tourism products, culture, cinema, cuisine, and events. Busan attracted more than 80,000 Vietnamese visitors in 2023, becoming Busan’s top 5 international tourist source markets.
