Da Nang city to host the first Beach-Leisure and MICE Travel Mart in 2016

(QNO) - According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), the Beach-Leisure and MICE Travel Mart – BMTM 2016 will be held in Da Nang City from 24-26 June 2016.

This event aims to promote brand of high-class beach-leisure tourism and MICE tourism, contributing to stimulating tourism and increasing the number of international tourists to the Central region and Vietnam. It’s also an opportunity for sellers and buyers, visitors and the public to meet each other and introduce destinations, tourism products, marine sport and entertainment services, in addition to facilitating travel enterprises, especially medium and small ones, to expand business cooperation with international partners.

The BMTM 2016 is expected to attract around 200 booths with the participation of many companies in the country as well as those from ASEAN and Northeast Asian countries (China, Japan, South Korea).

In the framework of the BMTM 2016, a series of activities will be held including seminars on beach-leisure and MICE tourism, key tourist markets of central region; Buyers and the Media programs with the attendance of 100-150 international buyers, 50-100 domestic buyers and 30 international media agencies; promotion programs; gala dinner introducing Vietnamese cuisine and traditional art performance. Furthermore, many other activities of exchange, fam trips, photo exhibition aiming to promote Vietnamese people, culture and attractions to visitors and the media will be hosted.

Reportedly, in 2016, Da Nang City will launch a variety of new leisure tourism products such as Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park (Hoa Phu Commune, Hoa Vang district), Ba Na Hills golf course and French Village (Hoa Ninh commune, Hoa Vang District), wine festival, new services in Asian Park (Hai Chau district) and a number of tourist routes from Han River…
