(QNO) - More and more Korean activities take place in Quang Nam. The Vietnam - South Korea Friendship Association in Quang Nam becomes a bridge and a place for the development of the relationship.
The Korean International Lotus Village (ILV- in An Phu Ward, Tam Ky city) becomes a sign of Koreans in Quang Nam.
It is a centre for Korean language, preschool and vocational education with the help of Korean teachers.
The Korean International Lotus Village is also a place for the disabled, and a nursing home.
The Vietnam - South Korea Friendship Association along with other non-governmental organisations in South Korea has financed over 30 programmes and projects in Quang Nam for 5 years, including charity houses, school playgrounds, scholarships, bicycles for students, teaching equipment, clean water for schools.
All of them show the love South Korean people give to Vietnam and Quang Nam.
Besides, there have been a lot of cultural exchange events between Quang Nam and South Korea’s localities.
Tam Thanh mural village is an evidence for the Quang Nam - South Korea cultural exchange, which is attractive to the public.
In addition, South Korea is one of major investment partners of Quang Nam with many projects with large production value.
There are 56 Korean investment projects with a total capital of over USD 822 million, providing about 20,000 jobs for the locals in Quang Nam.
Chairman of the Vietnam - South Korea Friendship Association in Quang Nam said that the association will continue preserving and developing the friendship between the two nations, introducing the images of Quang Nam to Korean people.
At the same time, the association will also try to call for more investment in Quang Nam.
