Cua Dai bridge for provincial socio-economic development

(QNO)  - A ceremony of attaching sign to Cua Dai bridge was held by Quang Nam People’s Committee in the beginning of October 2015. This bridge spanning over Thu Bon river connects Cam Thanh ward of Hoi An ancient quarter and Duy Xuyen district (Quang Nam province). This large bridge is also chosen to be an emulation construction to welcome the 21st Quang Nam provincial Party Committee Congress for the 2015-2020 term.

The bridge for socio-economic development in provincial eastern region.

This construction with structure of reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete started in 2010. The 7-span bridge is 1,480m-long (main part of bridge with 830m-long, northern road with 400m-long, southern road with 240m-long) and 25.5m-wide. The total investment capital is 3,450 billion VND, of which Central capital counts for 50%,  the rest is from the local land fund and others.

As Quang Nam’s key transport infrastructure construction, Cua Dai bridge will create favour condition for the residents’ activities, production development, contribute to the socio-economic development in provincial eastern region and its neighbours, ensure the activities of rescue, flood escape, natural disaster prevention…
