(QNO) - The Quang Nam – Sekong annual conference 2019 has just been organized in Sekong province of Laos. Present at the event were Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Dinh Van Thu, Deputy Governor of Sekong province and other representatives.

The conference agreed that the cooperation and exchange between Quang Nam and Sekong have effectively made in all fields since 2017. Besides, the problems of free migration, illegal marriage along the border of Quang Nam and Sekong have been solved.
In the period of 2017 - 2019, many important constructions have been given to Sekong province by Quang Nam. In addition, Quang Nam has helped Sekong with human resource training. Sekong has invested the road from Sekong administrative center to Dac Ta Ooc border gate and Quang Nam’s national route 14D, which contribute to foster economic development in the two provinces.
At this conference, Quang Nam and Sekong representatives discussed the socio-economic growth and cooperation in the coming time; especially, the Summit 2019 Statement on synchronous infrastructure development at the Nam Giang-Dac Ta Ooc border gate, border management, free migration and illegal marriage, economic and educational cooperation…
