(QNO) - On 26th August in Hoi An city EU- ESRT Management Board (EU-ESRTMB) officially handed over the tourism brand identity, the tourism logo and the common travel website to Da Nang city, Quang Nam and Thua Thien- Hue provinces.

The common tourism brand- the Essence of Vietnam was chosen with the meaning of part of the essence of Vietnam. The destination is where visitors can learn about the cultures, enjoy the best beaches and cuisine at the same time.

The project also handed over the new travel website to the provinces. This is the first product to be labelled the common tourism brand. In addition, 21 technical documents relating to tourism products development of the destinations were transferred to the provinces.

It is reported that in Feb. 2014, with the support of EU - ESRT project (funded by European Union), three provinces signed a cooperation agreement on tourism development, that has achieved some positive results.
