(QNO) - To commemorate the tenth anniversary (2014 - 2024) of the twinning between the ancient town of Hoi An (Quang Nam province) and Szentendre, Hungary, various programs and exchanges have been organized to review their cooperation and promote future relations.
On this special occasion, a delegation from Szentendre, led by Mayor Fülöp Zsolt Attila has a working trip to Hoi An from July 16 to 26.
In addition to courtesy visits and joint working sessions, activities in Hoi An will include courtesy visits, joint working sessions, tree planting, and an art exchange night to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Hoi An - Szentendre partnership.
During this occasion, the two cities discuss cooperation in culture, arts, heritage preservation, and tourism to foster cultural exchange and attract tourism between them.
Both governments will encourage citizen exchanges, facilitate business and school interactions, and organize at least one cultural and tourism event in each city from 2024 to 2029.
The event aims to showcase the beauty and significance of the friendship between the two cities, highlighting Hoi An's international character and global integration.
