Closing the training course for heritage guides

(QNO) - The 2nd Heritage Guide Training Programme 2015 has just ended in Hoi An city by Quang Nam provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, UNESCO country office in Ha Noi and International Labour Organization (ILO).

Certificates are offered to the trainees.

Taking part in this training course were 25 trainees including free tour guides and speakers in the world cultural heritage Hoi An. During the 5-day course, the trainees were taught the basic knowledge of UNESCO’s world heritages as well as Vietnam’s cultural heritages. Besides, these trainees had many fact-finding trips in Hoi An ancient town, Tra Que vegetable village, My Son Sanctuary.

After the course, the trainees could learn about the important role of and the threats to the world heritage sites. So they will help tourists raise awareness and responsibility for protecting the world heritage sites. Especially, the trainees were offered  certificates in heritage tour guiding at the end of this course.
