(QNO) - The closing of the National Tourism Year - Quang Nam 2022 and the opening of the National Start-up Year - Quang Nam 2023 took place in Vinpearl Nam Hoi An on the evening of December 22, 2022.
Present at the event were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Doan Van Viet, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Van Tung, and leaders of Quang Nam province.
In the framework of the National Tourism Year 2022 - Quang Nam - A Tourist Green Destination, there were over 200 events and activities occurring all over the province.
At the same time, a lot of responding activities and events were held in 42 provinces and cities nationwide.
The National Tourism Year 2022 contributed to the post-COVID-19 recovery of Quang Nam and Vietnam’s tourism, according to Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh.
The success of the National Tourism Year 2022 results in the host of the National Start-up Year 2023 - Spreading the Start-up Spirit.
The National Start-up Year 2023 aims to promote the spirit of innovative start-up, motivate the aspiration of enrichment; thereby bettering the national innovative start-up ecosystem.
Science, technology, and innovative start-up are considered key factors for sustainable development in Quang Nam. The start-up ecosystem in Quang Nam with the accompaniment of experts is highly appreciated.
The National Tourism Year 2022 was a chance for localities and destinations to promote their cultural and natural beauties, festivals, heritages and relics.
At the same time, it was the time to better local tourism products and services in order to attract visitors.
Sustainable and green tourism activities showed their effectiveness.
The quality of Quang Nam has been improved, resulting in the success of Quang Nam tourism brand, contributing to attracting more visitors to the province.
The National Tourism Year 2022 was successful although it happened in the extremely different time after COVID-19. The event contributed to the promotion of Quang Nam and Vietnam tourism.
At the closing ceremony of the National Tourism Year 2022, Quang Nam gave the credits and publications to 17 sponsors who contributed to the success of the event.
The National Tourism Year 2023 will be hosted by Binh Thuan province.
