(QNO) – After four days of vibrant competition, the 8th Hoi An International Choir Competition 2025 concluded on the evening of April 12, leaving a wide range of emotions for music-loving locals and tourists alike.

The senior choir CEAO (Canada) won the 8th Hoi An International Choir Competition 2025.

The 8th Vietnam International Choir Competition - Hoi An 2025 was organized by Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) in collaboration with the Interkultur Association (Federal Republic of Germany). The event attracted 29 choir groups with more than 1,200 artists from 9 countries including Canada, Poland, South Korea, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Vietnam.

A teams is thrilled to achieve high rankings at this year's International Choir Competition.

Mr. Johan Rooze, Artistic Director of Interkultur, expressed his joy in seeing so many choral music lovers gather in Hoi An to sing, dance, learn, and connect, uniting through music to bring nations closer together.

The international choir teams brings beautiful moments to the event.

First held in 2011, the Vietnam International Choir Competition is organized by Hoi An city in collaboration with the Interkultur Association (Germany) every two years. Each edition leaves a lasting impression on friends and participants.

The South Korean team participates in the competition.

At the end of the competition, the organizers awarded the victory to the senior choir CEAO (Canada), conducted by Maestro Maxime Bégin, along with awards for each category to the participating groups.
