Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Ho Quang Buu took part in the event at the Quang Nam spot.

It was the 3rd seminar of its kind between the Vietnamese Government Office and the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam, thereby Japan can support Vietnam to build e-Government. It is also part of cooperative and supportive activities Japan offered to Viet Nam.

E-Government is considered as a basic foundation for Vietnam’s economic development and international integration in the coming years.

It must be built based on a close connection between information technology (IT) application, administrative reforms, and improvement in transparency and publicity. In addition, the satisfaction of people and businesses is among key factors to access the e-Government development.

From Japan’s policies and experiences, Vietnamese ministries, sectors and localities will discuss, study and properly apply them in accordance with their actual situation.

The Government Office will focus on directing the acceleration of the online processing of records and the enhancement of connections between state administrative agencies and socio-political-professional organizations.

Vietnam localities and departments will effectively implement the provision of level-3 and level-4 online public services and online payment on the national public service portal.
