(QNO) - A programme to share experiences in the projects of community-based environmental conservation has just been organized by the Management Board of Cham Islands Biosphere Reserve (Hoi An city, Quang Nam province) and the Global Environment Fund (GEF).

This was a part of the open meeting of GEF with the participation of the national management board of 15 countries mainly in East Asia and Southeast Asia such as Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam…In Hoi An, the GEF coordinated with the city’s authority to carry out 3 projects consisting of the natural crabs restoration in Cham Islands, the nipa restoration and conservation towards eco-tourism development in Cam Thanh commune, and the socialization in garbage management.
