(QNO) - A ceremony to receive the certificate for the national relic site of Ban Than - Hon Mang - Hon Dua (Tam Hai commune) was organized on February 29 by the People's Committee of Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province.
Ban Than - Hon Mang - Hon Dua landscape complex is located in Tam Hai commune, Nui Thanh district and about 400 million years old.
The shape and colour of the stone steps which belong to the Kham Duc - Nui Vu complex are manifestations of the Earth's crust evolution and like unique works of art.
In addition, the Ban Than - Hon Mang - Hon Dua landscape complex owns long, clear, pristine beaches while the land of Thuan An brings unique cultural features of the coastal region.

Earlier, Ban Than - Hon Mang - Hon Dua landscape complex was recognized as a Quang Nam provincial level relic site in 2017.
In 2003, Tam Hai commune coordinated with the Marine Conservation Center (MCD) to mobilize local people to learn about the value of coral reefs, clean the sea, comply with the law in exploitation and fishing; implement a project for preserving and sustainably using the Tam Hai coral reef ecosystem; and introduce Ban Than - Hon Mang - Hon Dua to the public.
Giving his speech at the event, Chairman of the Nui Thanh district’s People Committee Le Van Sinh said the recognition of the Ban Than - Hon Mang - Hon Dua landscape complex as a national relic site is to praise the efforts of the local people and authorities in preserving, conserving and promoting the value of the site.
