Ba Trao is a traditional singing of fishermen in the central provinces of Vietnam, particularly in Quang Nam province. It is a combination of singing and dancing techniques in the local unique religious art form, and performed in praying ceremonies to the Marine God and Ong Fish at the beginning of the Lunar New Year before sailing all year round. Ba Trao lyrics are easy to remember and sing. During the Ba Trao performance, both singers and audiences focus their minds on praying for safety and prosperity.

On the occasion, Nui Thanh presented its first  off-shore  fishing boats team with 22 new boats (14 steel and 8 wooden boats) which were built  thanks to government’s preferential loan capital source.
