(QNO) - Duy Xuyen district (Quang Nam province) is rich in historical and cultural resources, especially ancient Champa culture with Tra Kieu Simhapura and My Son Sanctuary. The romantic Thu Bon river flowing through the district’s green villages creates enormous potential for ecotourism development. Duy Xuyen is the only place to remain a relic of Nguyen Dynasty, the royal tomb of Doan Quy Phi. The district’s tourism develops by linking closely to that of Quang Nam, Hoi An, Da Nang and Hue cities.

Proper exploitation of resources and strict management of tourism trade will create employment opportunities, contributing to local socio-economic development. Therefore, Duy Xuyen has taken advantage of internal and external resources to make the district become a major tourism place of Quang Nam province.
