(QNO) - The “Art For Environment” programme was organised in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province on February 19 by the British Embassy in Ha Noi, Quang Nam Tourism Association and Hoi An Cultural and Art Facility Company Limited.
It was part of sustainable development support programme by the British Embassy.
Different activities took place within a day in Hoi An city, including exhibitions on marine animal paintings and environmental books for children, street art performances, exchange with ecological experts.
Besides, children took part in painting on recycled glasses, reading environmental books, dancing…
The programme aims to send a message about environmental protection to young people - the future owners of the earth.
Participating in the program, Deputy British Consul General Sam Wood said young people around the world including in Vietnam are pioneers in sustainable development discussion.
Expectedly, the programme “Art For Environment” will raise community’s awareness of eco-system, contributing to our planet protection.
