An exchange of heritage conservation

(QNO) - At present, there is a special team of guides of the Hoi An Center For Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation in Quang Nam province serving tourists who need to deeply learn about heritage conservation.

Tourists are listening to a specialist talking about the relic restoration at the Hoi An Center For Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation.

Tourists taking part in this tour are mainly Europeans who want to know how the Hoi An authorities and people conserve heritages. They are picked up at the ancient town and taken to Kazik park, the museums or houses which have been restored. At Kazik park, tourists are told about Architect Kazimierz Kwiatkowksi (known as Kazik), who made great contributions to the exploration, research and propagation for Hoi An to be recognized as the Word Cultural Heritage in 1999 by UNESCO.
