According to Lonely Planet, Vietnam boasts an extensive coastline with numerous spectacular beaches, accompanied by many tropical islands featuring vibrant coral reefs.
An Bang beach is only 3km away from the ancient town of Hoi An, making it convenient for tourists to visit during their stay at the heritage site.
Besides An Bang beach, Lonely Planet recommends Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Con Son (Ba Ria - Vung Tau), Mui Ne (Binh Thuan), Doc Let (Khanh Hoa), Ho Coc (Ba Ria - Vung Tau), My Khe (Da Nang), Cat Ba (Hai Phong), and My Khe (Quang Ngai).
