(QNO) - A discussion on the friendship and cooperation between Quang Nam and Nagasaki (Japan) provinces was co-presided by Secretary of Quang Nam Party Committee Nguyen Ngoc Quang and Chairman of Nagasaki province Yae Toshiharu in Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province on November 10.

At the meeting, on behalf of the Nagasaki province’s delegation, Chairman Yae Toshiharu felt sorry about the damages Quang Nam people suffered from the past flood and hoped they will overcome the difficulties to stabilize their life soon.
According to the agreement, two sides committed to carry out necessary supports of mutual human resources training, economic exchanges of agriculture, aquatic products, trade, industry, tourism, culture, sports, socio-economic development.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary Quang and Chairman Yae Toshiharu said the Vietnam-Japan strategic partnership has been developed positively, creating favourable conditions for two nations’ localities to have more cooperative chances. Two provinces believed the friendship and cooperative relationship between two sides will be strong in all fields in the coming time.
