A message about unity in Quang Nam tourism was sent to Quang Nam tourism businesses from Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh on the occasion of the beginning of the year of the buffalo.
Quang Nam tourism has been under bad impacts due to Covid-19. Most of tourism businesses in Quang Nam province have got into difficulties but the tourism community is making every effort to find solutions and overcome challenges.
The Hoi An city’s authorities have recently jointly organized a lot of tourism activities and events. Hoi An is planning to create more new tourism products and events to attract visitors to Hoi An and Quang Nam.
According to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Tri Thanh, Quang Nam tourism community and local authorities should be in solidarity to find solutions to difficulties.
Tourism brings benefits to both businesses and the local communities. The development of Quang Nam tourism should hence be directed to sustainability.
It means that it is necessary to plan and develop tourism spaces synchronically. At the same time, the provincial leaders also facilitate tourism development.
In spite of complicated context of Covid-19 resulting in the frozen international tourist market, Quang Nam tourism should prepare everything for welcoming international visitors again.
Quang Nam will consider to open for some international tourist markets where the Covid-19 pandemic is controlled. Quang Nam tourism should focus on both domestic and foreign visitors.
Mr. Thanh also suggested improving tourism products, developing cultural tourism and nature-based tourism. In particular, on the occasion of the 550th anniversary of Quang Nam, there will be a special coordinated program carried out by Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh.
The event will be a chance for these localities to build a cultural tourism product. Concurrently, it is expected to be the restart of tourism activities in Quang Nam in 2021.
