A Technical Report And a Map Of Tourism Products in Vietnam's Central Coast launched

(QNO) - A technical report and a map of regional tourism products development for 2 cities Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang and Quang Nam province of Viet Nam’s Central Coast was completed and  launched on 25th November. It was funded by the European Union and carried out by the Environmentally and Socially Responsible Tourism Capacity Development Programme (EU-ESRT).

The report analyses the current situation and the lack of products  in three localities  in order to better the quality of the regional tourism products. The report also identified the main strategies for priority tourism product linkages as follows, the Heritage Road touring route will connect the  key cultural heritage products of the region; the “Marine Paradise” will focus on developing and promoting the community based and eco-tourism products of regional’s seas and islands.

From the analyses, 12 key suggestions were given to the Government to develop the regional tourism products, focusing on the quality of doing the voice-over at the heritage sites, that of tourism services and activities in the coastal destinations, protecting the traditional villages from urbanization and modernization.

A map of regional tourism products accompanied with the report was also presented. They are considered important  resources for tourism planning and development of the  region in general and  three localities in particular.
