Several activities and services in Quang Nam were permitted to reopen after the time of social distancing due to Covid-19 as of September 6, 2020. They include karaoke, massage, bars and pubs, discotheques, transportation, lottery ticket sales, driving test, tourism activities and so on.
Earlier, the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee (QNPC) had issued a decision on suspending these activities to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Vice Chairman of QNPC Tran Van Tan asked all districts, towns and cities to work towards a dual goal: socio-economic development along with Covid19 infection prevention and control.
Accordingly, Quang Nam is now setting a new normal state in which all social activities are done in a combination with the measures for Covid-19 infection prevention and control such as wearing face masks in public places, washing hands with antibacterial soaps or sanitizers, preparedness for responding to Covid-19 outbreaks.
However, it is not allowed to gather more than 20 people at public places, tourist attractions, amusement parks, sports and cultural events, festivals, ceremonies, anniversaries, religious rituals, etc.
People from Da Nang city to Quang Nam needn’t fill out the medical declaration forms or spend time in quarantine any longer.
