(QNO) - Administrative reform and improving the investment and business climate in Quang Nam have been carried out dramatically in order to serve and support enterprises and people better.

Accordingly, some programs, action plans, and directives have been promulgated to improve the provincial business environment and enhance its competitiveness index. A number of innovative solutions to these problems have been proposed. The provincial Center for Public Administration and Investment Promotion, the districts’ departments of receiving and returning dossiers have come into operation, which helps individuals and enterprises to carry out administrative procedures in Quang Nam easily and conveniently.
In addition, along with the establishment of investor support teams, the solutions to removing difficulties for enterprises and investors have been paid more attention. They include site clearance, resettlement, facilitating enterprises and investors, deploying the programs on preferential loans, helping businesses with their products promotion in national and international fairs and exhibitions, carrying out meetings and dialogues between authorities and enterprises...
As a result, there have been 6,151 enterprises operating in the province up to now. In the first 6 months of 2018, over 700 enterprises were newly established, up 26% over the same period last year. 32 domestic investment projects were licensed with a total registered capital of over VND1447 billion. At the same time, there were 16 new FDI projects with a total registered capital of nearly USD 68 million, up 5 projects over the same period last year. So, the total number of FDI projects is 161 now with a total investment capital of over USD 5 billion.
As can be seen that the production and business of the enterprises in Quang Nam are rather stable. The new establishment of enterprises has created jobs, raising employees’ income.
