3,000 lanterns and 50 balloons to welcomes New Year 2019 in Hoi An city

For the first time, 3,000 lanterns and 50 balloons will be used to welcome the new year in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province. Besides, a firework performance will be indispensable on the New Year’s Eve (December 31). This event also aims to celebrate the 20th anniversary of UNESCO's recognition of Hoi An ancient town as a World Cultural Heritage.

On this occasion, tourists who enjoy the realistic scenery show of Hoi An memory  will be given lanterns. People will also experience the architectural, artistic, culinary spaces, traditional folk games at Vietnamese village, Chinese village, Japanese village in Hoi An ancient town.
