(QNO) - On December 4, Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) will organize a parade featuring bicycles, cyclos, and electric vehicles through the ancient town and surrounding areas.
The event will commemorate 25 years since Hoi An ancient town was recognized as a UNESCO world cultural heritage site, 7 years since the Art of Bai Choi in Central Vietnam was inscribed on the UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage of humanity, 15 years since Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An was designated a UNESCO world biosphere reserve, and Hoi An's inclusion in the UNESCO creative cities network.
The events will feature diverse formats and rich content, emphasizing depth and the inheritance, preservation, and promotion of Hoi An's cultural heritage values.
The events aim to link the honoring of traditional cultural heritage values with creativity in culture, aligning with the criteria for building a heritage, creative, and smart city.
